This a 7 days sunny beach wedding and Wildlife watching honeymoon in Kenya, the holiday starts with a Lamu excursion to famous historical sites, then proceed to Manda Island for your big day cerebration and then proceed to Masai Mara for a three days Safari honeymoon. On this itinerary, you can be sure to a have a stylish beach wedding with quality time on the beach and a classic safari honeymoon.

On this day you will be received by our representative at Manda airstrip or on an agreed venue in Lamu, then transfer to Kipungani Explorer; on arrival you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest; after you will meet with your wedding coordinator to brief you about the wedding and discuss any changes or additions you may prefer. In the afternoon, you will have a sailing trip to the Island to watch dolphins, birds, turtles and other marine life; the evening will be left on you, to either relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.
Kipungani Explorer is a luxury Lodge located in Lamu along a 600m long private beach front, it’s a quiet and secluded area with un-spoilt white sandy beach, just perfect for private weddings and honeymoons. The luxury Bandas are spacious with a king size bed, well designed African décor and wide veranda facing the beach; other facilities offered by lodge include a swimming pool, gift boutique, a bar, a water sport center, beauty and body Spa; activities include knee boarding, kayaking, wind surfing, deep sea diving, dhow sailing and fishing.
After a delicious breakfast, your wedding organizer will take you to the registrar's office, where he will assist you go through the legal marriage formalities then return to the hotel for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon you will have a Lamu historical tour, taking you through major attractions in Lamu. The evening will be left on you to relax as you get ready for the big day.
NOTE: this day must be on a week day; the office of the registrar is not opened on the weekends and public holidays.
After breakfast, you will meet the Marriage Officer to discuss about the ceremony procedure and any changes or request you may have. Then set off to your beautifully decorated beach venue for the ceremony, the vows will be followed by traditional dancers who will entertain you as you share your wedding cake and champagne with family and friends.
After that you and your guest will then be served with a special delicacy to honor your special day, then set of for a Dhow sailing trip of the island, where you will just seat and enjoy a glass of wine as you re-wind the high moments of the day. In the evening you will be welcomed back to the lodge by African traditional drums and dancers to a private area to enjoy your dinner and the evening.
This day will be left on you, to spend quality time with your loved one, just lying on the beach, relaxing by the pool side with a cold drink, enjoying special dinner under the star-filled skies and indulging in a deep-tissue massage and sunset walks along the beach.
Lamu host a wide variety of coral gardens, inhabited by multi-coloured fish such as angelfish, butterflyfish, triggerfish and surgeonfish that are easily seen while snorkeling, scuba diving or while sailing in a glass-bottomed boat.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the air strip for you scheduled flight to Masai Mara via Nairobi, on arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Ol Seki Mara Camp; check in, have lunch and a brief rest before embarking on an afternoon game drive.
Masai Mara is well known for its large number of wildlife, beautiful landscapes and the great wildlife migration across the savannah; wildlife migrate from Serengeti national park in Tanzania to Masai Mara in search of new grazing land, this cycle happens every year between July/August and October/November. The great part of the cycle is when the wildebeest are crossing the Mara river; here the Lions, cheetahs, Jackals, Hyenas and Crocodiles wait on one side for the prey to cross over, while the wildebeest, antelopes and other lesser animals wait on the other side for the right time to cross. Watching all this unfold is a lifetime experience and a great opportunity for photographers.
The following day you will have a whole day game drive, starting with a hot air balloon flight; that will fly you over the park watching wildlife and the beautiful landscapes beneath you; when up there you will pop champagne and toss with your loved one to a good marriage life to come, on landing; you will have a romantic bush breakfast, followed by a Masai cultural visit to the local Masai villages. In the evening, the hotel team will prepare a candle lit bush dinner just for you two, the private dinner will only be interrupted by the Masai dancers as they entertain you.
After a final morning game drive, it will be time to say bye to the wonderful sceneries of Masai Mara, you will be transferred to the air strip for you flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you will then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or on an agreed venue in Nairobi.
