This a 3 days safari holiday at Ngorongoro national reserve, driving from Arusha with a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge, spending two days exploring the crater, watching wildlife and winding up with a distance view of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a great itinerary with options to customize to personal need, by either adding a hot air balloon flight, touring the neighboring Serengeti national park to track the Great Migration or just relaxing and enjoying various amenities on offer.

On this day you will be picked from the airport or on an agreed venue in Arusha, briefed about your safari itinerary and driven to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on the rim of the crater, on the way; you will have a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge, a beautiful gorge where the Homo-Habilis were first discovered.
On arrival at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge you will check in, have a late lunch and a brief rest before heading for your first evening game drive. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is a beautiful large lodge located on the rim of the Crater and has stunning view of the Crater.
On this day after breakfast, you will start with a nature walk descending into the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, passing through the forest, swamps, open grassland, the sandy dunes, down to the Crater Lake full of birds and surrounded by wildlife. On the way back, you will extend the walk to the famous Masai Villages; this are the homes for the famous Masai people, they are well known for their fascinating culture and traditions, you can easily spot them grazing their cattle at the crater unshaken by the presence of the wild animals.
Ngorogoro Crater is an impressive geological feature created by a collapsed volcano, leaving a huge bowl-like landscape; it has one of the best world geographical scenery, thousands of animals and birds species.
On this day, you will have a small morning game drive and then drive back to Arusha, where you will have lunch and a brief rest at Arusha Hotel. After that you will be driven to Moshi town where you will spend an hour or so watching Mount Kilimanjaro and then in the evening; you will either be dropped at Kilimanjaro international airport for your return flight or at an agreed venue in Arusha.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world; it’s a dormant volcanic mountain with the highest peak Kibo; rising about 5895m above sea level. Mount Kilimanjaro is popular destination in visited to thousands of tourists every year.
