Full Day Water Rafting

Summery

This is a full day water rafting sporting tour in Uganda, the trip begins with a simple drive from either Kampala or Jinja, to Victoria Nile, where you will enjoy a 25Km white water rafting adventure. The rafting stretches consist of beautiful landscapes full of birds, indigenous trees, waterfalls among other attractions in the regions.

• Clothes to change at the end of the trip

Note:

• The minimum age for water rafting is 16 years; anyone less than 18 years should have a guardian written consent.
• No prier rafting or swimming experience is required; however one should have confident and drive to stay around the water and be reasonably fit.

Full Day Water Rafting

On this day, you will be received at an agreed venue in Kampala or in Jinja and driven down to Explorer River Camp in Jinja (just next Victoria Nile). On arrival, you will have a brief rest taking snacks as you prepare for the rafting, here our rafting guides will take you through the safety precautions and the do and do not.

The rafting will be on a 25km stream down the river and will take approximately 5 hours to complete the 25Km stretch; on this section, the rafting will have numerous categories of class II and III of the water rafting and two big drops of class IV and V.

The rafting will begin with easy sections; taking you through New Bujangali dam, Buyala, Bususwa area, down to Itanda Falls, Limuli and winding up at Harry Lemon’s; where you will have a few minutes rest to unwind over the thrilling experience as you enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet lunch with a cold drink, before driving back to either Jinja or Kampala.

In every major drop, the guides will stop and take you through the do and don’ts, and if you feel you would prefer to join the safety boat or walk around the drop and rejoin after the drop, that is absolutely welcomed. There are several long stretches of calm waters to enjoy as you get yourself ready for the rapid rafts and drops; it’s an exhilarating adventure with a lifetime experience to forever cherish.
