Lake Nakuru lodge is a beautiful Safari Lodge located within Lake Nakuru national park; it’s a large lodge strategically set on an elevated area overlooking the lake, acacia and euphorbia forest full of wildlife and birds. Lake Nakuru Lodge is a unique lodge, with a mixture of modern and colonial style architectural design, modern interior, nicely done gardens and ample space to relax and enjoy nature. The Lodge blends in well with its surroundings, attracting animals close to the lodge for guest to watch.
Accommodation is in 95 comfortable wood and stone rondavel, these include standard and deluxe rooms, cottages and suites. All rooms are air conditioned, with own bathroom, dressing area, king/queen size bed with a mosquito net, a safe, coffee/tea making facilities, a telephone and a small front flower garden.
Meals at Lake Nakuru Lodge are well planned and prepared from freshly produced product, this includes African and western breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are usually served in the restaurant or on a private pre-arranged special venue.
Facilities at Lake Nakuru lodge include a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar, a gift shop, a games center, meeting/conference center, a wellness center, outdoor lounge area and ample parking space. Additional services include laundry and baby-sitting services.
Activities include morning and evening game drives, guided nature and safari walks, bird watching trips, horse riding, swimming, playing tennis, dirt’s and chase among other park activities.
Lake Nakuru Lodge is located within Lake Nakuru National Park, it’s about 160 Km from Nairobi; If traveling on a chartered flight, it would take 30 minutes from Nairobi to Naishi airstrip, then a few minutes’ drive to the lodge. By road, its 2 ½ hour’s drive from Nairobi.
Other attractions near Lake Nakuru Lodge Lodge would include Nakuru town excursions, nature walks on Menegai crater, hiking on Mount Longonot, birds watching to Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria and Lake Naivasha.
