Baobab Sea Lodge is a pleasant boutique beach lodge strategically set on a 60 meter beach front and on a 7 acre piece of land with beautiful tropical garden; it’s an attractive beach hotel with comfortable accommodation, excellent 24 hours room service, various beach facilities and activities for both adults and kids.
Baobab Sea Lodge has a total of 30 guest rooms that are set in rondavels and in double story buildings; the rooms are in double rooms, family rooms and twin bed rooms. All the rooms are nicely decorated and have a king/queen size bed, an air conditioner, a ceiling fan, own bathroom, a private verandah and a secure ample parking space.
Meals at Baobab Sea Lodge are well planned and prepared from fresh local products; they include exotic fruits, vegetables, exquisite sea foods among other African and international cuisines; the meal are usually served in the dining /restaurants.
Lodge facilities at Baobab Sea Lodge include a swimming pool, a bar, lounge areas and veranda hammocks, restaurants, massage room, a disco and entertainment area, a swim-up bar and a conference/meeting rooms.
Activities would include snorkeling, swimming, water skiing, sailing and sunset cruise, deep sea game fishing, crab-catching excursions and bird watching walks, playing beach volleyball/football, table tennis among other beach activities.
Baobab Sea Lodge is between Mombasa and Malindi Town, the simplest way to get there from Nairobi is flying to either Mombasa or Malindi airport then a 30 minutes’ drive to the Lodge. By road, it’s about five hours drive from Nairobi.
Besides relaxing on the beach, sunbathing and enjoying the wonderful breeze; other nearby attractions would include city excursion to famous museums, zoos, and historical sites in the region, a visit to Marine Parks, playing golf and tennis, Safari tour to Tsavo national park and sailing trips to nearby islands.
Baobab Sea Lodge is just a few minutes’ drive to Kilifi town, Malindi town or Mombasa city; there are a plenty of modern shops, super markets, banks, ATM’s, foreign exchange bureau, nice restaurants, bars, open air markets and medical centers.
