This a 6 days beach wedding and beach honeymoon, that starts and ends in Malindi, Kenya; the holiday starts with a two days Malindi town excursion as you go through the wedding formalities, then proceed to Manda Island for your big day and a 3 days beach honeymoon.

On this day you will be picked from Malindi airport or on an agreed place in Malindi and driven to Che Shale Beach Lodge; on arrival you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, you will have a sailing trip to Sand Island to watch dolphins, birds, turtles and other marine life; the evening will be left on you, to either relax or enjoy any of the lodge facilities and luxury services.
Che Shale Lodge is about 20km north of Malindi, it’s a beautiful lodge with a 5Km stretch of white sand beach, it has beach bandas that are well designed to integrate with the surrounding, luxury accommodation, health Spa, swimming pools, bar, restaurant and lots of activities that include kite surfing, snorkeling, fishing, evening beach stroll, bonfire with tradition dancers among others.
After a delicious breakfast, your wedding organizer will drive you to the registrar's office, where he will assist you to go through the legal marriage formalities then return to the hotel for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, you will have a tour of Malindi; taking you to Gedi Ruines, Mambrui ruins, the Vasco Da Gamma pillar, the Portuguese chapel, the pillar tombs, the snake and crocodile farm, then pass by the old market to buy some souvenirs and gifts to take back home. In the evening you will be free to spend some quality time with your love one, either at the beach, by the poolside or on your private verandah.
After breakfast, you will check out transfer to Manda Bay Lodge on Manda Island; on arrival you will meet the Marriage Officer to discuss about the ceremony procedure and any changes or request you may have. Then set off to your beautifully decorated beach venue for the ceremony, the vows will be followed by traditional dancers who will entertain you as you share your wedding cake and champagne with friends and family.
After taking your vows, you will set off on a speed boat for a two hours sea excursion taking you through the beautiful Islands and landscapes,while up there you will pop and toss a glass of champagne with your loved one to a good marriage life to come. After that you will join up with your family and friends to a special Italian cuisine, served on nicely decorated beachfront setting with a sea background. The rest of the day will be left on you to relax with family and friends enjoying various amenities at the lodge, in the evening you will have a romantic celebratory party with drinks, meals of your choice and entertainments.
NOTE: this day's events can be re-structured to meet your taste.
The following two days will be left on you, to spend most of the time alone with your loved one on the beach, relaxing by the pool side with a cold drink, enjoying special dinner under the star-filled skies and indulging in a deep-tissue massage and sunset walks along the beach.
Manda Bay Lodge is located on the northern tip of Manda Island, on the Lamu Archipelago. It’s a luxury and well designed lodge located in a secluded and private area, Popular amongst families, groups of friends and honeymooners. All the 16 rooms are beautifully designed with direct view and access to the beach.
After your delicious breakfast, it will be time to say bye to the wonderful staff and the great sceneries on Manda Island, then you will be transferred to Malindi airport for your return flight.
NB: - This beach wedding itinerary can be easily combined with a three days wildlife safari to either Masai Mara, Amboseli national park or Samburu national reserve.
