This a 7 days safari honeymoon, that starts and ends in Nairobi; the holiday begins with a Nairobi city excursion, followed by a short flight to Amboseli National Park to watch Mount Kilimanjaro and the large numbers of elephants, then head down to the famous Masai Mara to enjoy some time alone watching the great wildebeest migration, thousands of wildlife and stunning landscapes. Accommodation on this itinerary is carefully chosen from the top intimate and luxury lodges.
This a 7 days Kenyan honeymoon Safari holiday; that starts and ends in Nairobi, taking you through major wildlife conservancies and tourist attractions in Nairobi, followed by a trip to Amboseli National Park to watch Mount Kilimanjaro and the large Elephants, then head west to the famous Masai Mara; to watch the beautiful landscapes full of wildlife and luxury wilderness accommodation that are ideal for honeymoon and private holidays. On this trip you can be sure to watch all the ‘Big Five’ and thousands of other lesser animals, hundreds of bird species, stunning landscapes that include mount Kilimanjaro and the Great Rift Valley.

On this day you will be received at Jomo Kenya international airport or on an agreed venue in Nairobi, our tour guide will brief you about your holiday and then drive you to The Boma Hotel. The Hotel has a peaceful setting and relaxing atmosphere, you will spend the rest of the morning relaxing and refreshing yourself, In the afternoon you will have a Nairobi city tour that extend to the Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe center.
The BOMA hotel consists of 148 luxury deluxe guest rooms, with a rooftop solar heated swimming pool and a pool bar, a Spa, a fitness center and four treatment rooms offering a wide range of body massage, facial, body brushing and body scrubs. The hotel is owned by Kenya Red Cross and the profit is used to fund some of their humanitarian activities.
After a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. On arrival you will be received by our staff, who will transfer you to Tortilis Camp; here you will check in, have a brief rest before embarking on an afternoon game drive.
The following day, you will wake up to a morning game drive through major wildlife attraction in Amboseli, then continue to the observation hill and the swamp area to view more wildlife and Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon you will have a cultural visit to the local Masai villages; here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local Masai people, tour their villages, get an insight information on their culture and way of living, listen to their traditional songs and dances.
Amboseli National park lies on the north west of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the border of Kenya and Tanzania, the ecosystem is typical of the open savannah grassland, with the open wooded grasslands, rolling hills, swamps and the outstanding Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for the large herds of elephants, lions, cheetah, hyena, jackal, antelopes and birds species; its an ideal destination for wildlife watching tours, nature excursions, photography trips and viewing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Tortilis Camp is luxury camp with unrivaled views of Kilimanjaro and the open plains. The tents are large and spacious with king or twin beds and elegant en suite bathrooms. The guests have access to a private 30,000 acre conservancy facing the mountain; and can enjoy walks with experienced Masai guides, bush breakfasts and sun-downers. Tortilis is also famous for the Italian cuisine.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the air strip for you scheduled flight to Masai Mara national park via Nairobi, on arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Ol Seki Mara Camp; check in, have a brief rest before embarking on an afternoon game drive.
Masai Mara is well known for the great wildebeest migration across the savannah; wildlife migrate from Serengeti national park in Tanzania to Masai Mara in search of new grazing land, this cycle happens every year between July/August and October/November. The great part of the cycle is when the wildebeest are crossing the Mara river; here the Lions, cheetahs, Jackals, Hyenas and Crocodiles wait on one side for the prey to cross over, while the wildebeest, antelopes and other lesser animals wait on the other side for the right time to cross. Watching all this unfold is a lifetime experience and a great opportunity for photographers.
The following day you will take an early morning game drive (animals are usually out early in search of food before the temperatures rises), then return to the lodge for breakfast, you will spend the rest of the day alone with your loved one enjoying various hotel amenities and services. In the evening, the hotel team will prepare a candle lit bush dinner just for you two, the private dinner will only be interrupted by the Masai dancers who will entertain you after the dinner.
On the sixth day; you will wake up early, leave the hotel for a hot air balloon flight that will take you over the beautiful landscapes of Mara full of wildlife, then after landing you will have a bush breakfast and followed by a Masai cultural visit.
After the morning drive, it will be time to say bye to Masai Mara; after checking out, you will be transferred to the air strip for your return flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you will then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or to an agreed venue in Nairobi.
NB: - this holiday itinerary can be extended with a few days sunbathing at the Coast, either in Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu or Zanzibar.
