This a 7 days birds watching safari and major Lake’s tour in Kenya. The trip starts and ends in Nairobi, and includes touring Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria and Lake Victoria. This a typical Birds watching itinerary, where you will have the opportunity to watch over one thousand bird species, beautiful landscapes and thousands of other wild animals.

On this day you will be picked from the airport or on an agreed venue in Nairobi, briefed about the safari and then driven to the Great Rift Valley Lodge in Naivasha. On arrival you will check in, have a brief rest then prepare for a boat ride, while on a boat ride you will be able to see large hippos, monkeys, birds and different kinds of fish. In the afternoon you will have an option of either tour the area, play golf or just relax and enjoy various Spa and hotel facilities on offer.
Great Rift Valley Lodge is located above the Rift Valley and from the well set private balconies you can get a good view of the Lake, the volcanic mountains and the Rift Valley. They also have a Young rangers club that keeps the kids busy treasure hunting, swimming, and painting.
On this day after breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru National park, on arrival; you will have a small game drive through the park to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge , where you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest before embarking on an evening game drive to watch more wildlife.
Lake Nakuru National park is one of the outstanding lakes in Africa, it's shallow waters and alkaline concentrate attracts millions of pink flamingos, water bucks and other bird species; other major attractions includes the white and black Rhinos, Buffaloes, Monkeys, giraffes, Antelopes and warthogs.
On this day, you will continue with the drive to Lake Baringo; on arrival, you will be transferred to Samatian Island Lodge, where you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest before going out on a Lake excursion to watch birds and the beautiful Lake.
Lake Baringo is a beautiful freshwater lake located in northern Kenya, it’s also part of the Great Rift Valley, the lake is well known for its large number of bird species (over 460 bird species), crocodiles, hippos and wonderful landscapes. Activities would include boat riding, fishing, bird watching, water skiing, surfing and a day tour to the neighboring hot spring lake Bogoria.
On this day after breakfast, you will leave the Lodge with a packed picnic lunch for a whole day Lake Bogoria tour.
Lake Bogoria is a shallow alkaline lake located along the Rift Valley, south of Lake Baringo. The lake has beautiful escapements, swamps, hot spring and a couple of geysers that erupt up to 5m high; attraction in the area would include bird watching tour, a combine Lake Excursion tour to Lake Baringo and Bogoria.
On this day after breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Victoria, Rusinga Island Lodge. On arrival, you will check in, have a late lunch and a brief rest, in the evening you will have a small nature walk around the Island to watch more birds and the beautiful Lake.
The following day after breakfast, you will have morning boat excursion taking you through major attraction on the lake; watching different bird species, crocodiles, hippos and other lesser wildlife, then return to the lodge for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, you will have an option; to either relax and enjoy various treats at the lodge or have a cultural tour to Nyang’oma Kogelo Village (president Obama’s ancestral home).
Lake Victoria is the Largest Lake in Africa and second largest in the world (by surface area); it was named after the British Queen Victoria in the 18th Century , the Lake is the main source of river Nile and is shared by three countries (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda). Attractions in the area include boat tour, fishing trips, bird watching excursions, a visit to Kagelo Village (Obama’s ancestral home) among others.
On your last day, you will be driven back to Nairobi, on arrival; you will be transferred to an agreed venue in Nairobi or to the airport for your evening return flight.
