Lake Naivasha Country Club is a beautiful club hotel located on the shores of Lake Naivasha, it's an old 1930s colonial home that was refurbished and converted to a Country Club; it’s a great place for sport and leisure travelers. The history at Lake Naivasha Country Club dates back to the 1930s when it was used as the 'airport' for the flying boat service between Durban and London, as well as the hub of Happy Valley social activity. It’s a decent hotel transformed from the old British colonial building to a modern country club hotel; with a new stream of modern cottages, holiday facilities and activities, direct access to the Lake and plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature.
Accommodation is in five different categories of rooms that include a two bedroom presidential cottage, two executive suites, three executive cottages, 11 deluxe rooms and 33 standard rooms. All rooms are beautifully furnished with a king/queen size bed, a mosquito net, a bathroom and a dressing area, a cable television, a telephone and a private balcony; the executive rooms have additional amenities that include a spacious en-suite bathroom, a fridge, a lounge area and a working desk and a mini bar.
The meals at Lake Naivasha Country Club are nicely prepared from local fresh products that include fresh salads, vegetables and freshly caught fish among other African and international cuisines. The meals are served at the dining/restaurant or under the magnificent acacia and pepper trees or at your private cottage (on request).
Additional hotel facilities include a lounge areas and outdoor seating area on the lake's lawn, a dining room, a bar, a swimming pool with a pool bar and a kids' pool, an indoor games room, a gift shop, a family and honeymoon cottages, meeting and conference rooms. Additional services include laundry, airstrip transfer and baby-sitting services (on prearrangement).

Lake Naivasha Country Club is along the Moi South Lake road off Mahi Mahiu - Nairobi Highway. It’s a 1½ hours’ drive from Nairobi, 25 minutes from Naivasha town and 25 minutes via helicopters or chartered flight from Nairobi.
