Loldia House is a simple yet top class safari home, situated on a private Ranch north west of Lake Naivasha; it’s an elegant old British colonial farmhouse that was beautifully renovated to give a mixed feeling of nature surrounded by the old colonial and modern era. It’s a perfect place for a peaceful and secluded family holiday, honeymoon or small group safaris.

Loldia House a is classic colonial firm house, that was nicely renovated to offer luxury accommodation on a serene environment; the lodge consist of a couple of cottages that are nicely spaced around the main house, overlooking Lake Naivasha and surrounded by a lush flowers and acacia trees.
Accommodation at Loldia House is either in the main house or in the cottages; the main house has four en-suite double rooms that are selectively furnished to restore the original colonial theme and nature. The cottages include; the original cottage that is close to the main house, the Lake-shore cottage that is specifically designed for special occasions like honeymoon and the spacious hill side Loldia cottage with plenty of space to host a group of friends. All rooms are spacious with a king/double size bed, a mosquito net, an en-suite bathroom, a dressing area, lounge area, Wi-Fi connection and tea/coffee making facilities.
Meals at Loldia House are prepared from locally fresh organic products and spices, the menu combines African and western cuisines with additional fun dishes for kids. The meals are served at the dining area or at your private cottage or on a private nicely set candle lite garden table (on request).
Additional hotel facilities at Loldia House includes miles of wilderness to explore and watch wildlife, a gift shop, an indoor and outdoor lounge area, an open fire place, honeymoon and Family cottage, an outdoor games area, a comfortable sitting and dining room, Additional services include laundry, airstrip transfer and baby-sitting services(on pre-arrangement).
Activities would include relaxing at the Lodge and enjoying various spa treatments on offer, day and night game drives, boat lake excursions, guided safari and nature walks, bird watching trips, bush breakfast and sun-downer candle lit dinners, hiking and mountain climbing, horse riding, playing golf and local cultural visits.
Loldia House is about 15 kilometers from the Nairobi – Nakuru highway; 1½ hours’ drive from Nairobi, 20 minutes from Naivasha town and 25 minutes via helicopters or chartered flight from Nairobi. There are daily scheduled/chartered flights from Nairobi en-route to the famous Masai Mara, Mombasa, Samburu among other major attractions in Kenya.
Other attractions near Loldia House includes; visiting nearby Hell’s Gate national park, mounting climbing at Mt Longonot, nature walk at Eburru Forest, playing Golf or extend your tour to Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita or to the famous Masaai Mara.
Loldia House is just 20 minutes’ drive to Naivasha town; there are a couple of modern shops, traditional market places, nice restaurants, banks, ATMs, foreign exchange bureau and medical centers.
