This a 2 days wildlife watching safari at Lake Nakuru National park, driving from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru and spending the two days watching the beautiful lake full of pink flamingos and surrounded by huge acacia trees, white Rhinos, Buffaloes, Antelopes and many others. This is a two days tour of Lake Nakuru National Park, touring major attractions within the park, watching over a hundred bird species on the alkaline Lake, the white and black Rhinos, Buffaloes, Monkeys, giraffes, Antelopes, warthogs and among other wildlife.
On this day, you will be picked at an agreed venue in Nairobi and driven to Lake Nakuru National park on arrival; you will check in and drive through the park to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge , here you will check in, have a brief rest as you enjoy a cut of tea/coffee/juice. After lunch, you will start with an easy Lake tour, to watch the beautiful alkaline lake full of birds, then continue with the drive round the Lake and try to spot the white Rhinos, Buffaloes among other wild animals. In the evening, you will return to the Lodge just in time for dinner and evening entertainments.
The following day after breakfast, you will leave the Lodge with a packed picnic lunch, have a morning game drive, stopping at a secure venue a picnic lunch and a brief rest and then continue with the drive to the Lanet gate, check out and drive back to Nairobi.
Lake Nakuru National park is a beautiful park, with a shallow water and alkaline concentrate Lake, that attracts millions of pink flamingos, pelicans, water-bucks and over 400 other bird species; major attractions includes the white and black Rhinos, Buffaloes, Monkeys, giraffes, Antelopes and warthogs.
