This a 3 days Hot air balloon safari holiday to Masai Mara; its start by driving through the great rift valley down to Masai Mara, where you spend the following two day watching wildlife; the itinerary combines nature safari walk, game drive, Masai cultural visit and hot air balloon safari. On this itinerary; you can be sure to watch thousands of wildlife, all the big five and the great migration as well as enjoying a wilderness hot air balloon flight.

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
On this day, you will be picked from the airport or on an agreed venue in Nairobi, briefed about the safari itinerary and then driven through the beautiful Great Rift Valley escarpments, down to the famous Masai Mara; on arrival, you will drive through the park to Mara Serena Lodge for lunch and a brief rest before embarking an evening game drive. Masai Mara is without a doubt one of the top wildlife national parks in Africa, it's home to thousands of wildlife that include all the ‘Big Five’, the famous wildebeest migration, hundreds of bird species and beautiful landscapes.
Mara Serena lodge is a beautiful lodge located within the Mara Triangle section of the greater Masai Mara National Reserve; it's strategically set on a hilltop overlooking the rolling open plains and the beautiful woodlands full of wildlife, it’s an ideal destination for wildlife watching holiday, guided nature walks, hot air balloon flights and cultural interaction tour.
On this day after breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch; have a morning game drive, then go for a midday cultural visit to the Masai Villages; where you have an insight view of the local Masai people and their unique traditions and way of living. After that you will head out to a bush picnic lunch, before returning to an evening game drive that will extend to the Mara River to watch the large hippos and crocodiles basking on the river banks.
Note: this day's events can be adjusted to suit your taste, it can be adjusted by adding a guided nature walk or removing some events to just relax by the pool side and enjoy the various spa treatments on offer.
On your last day; you will wake up to a hot air balloon flight; that will fly you over the park watching wildlife and the beautiful landscapes beneath you, on landing; you will have a romantic bush breakfast, then drive through the wilderness watching more wildlife and back to the lodge; at around 11am, you will have an early lunch, then check out and be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or on an agreed venue in Nairobi.
