Manda Dream is a very beautiful and romantic beach Lodge located on the south west coast of Manda Island on the northern coast of Kenya. It is a top end rustic lodge on a very private secluded environment; it’s a great place for private beach retreat, wedding parties, honeymoon and family getaways.

Manda Dream is a gorgeous beach Lodge situated on Manda Island, one of the Lamu archipelago small Islands, north coast of Kenya; the Lodge has spacious and secluded beach Villas set on top of the sand dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean, it’s a glorious hideaway surrounded by tropical gardens, trees and un-spoilt white sandy beaches; the Villas are nicely designed and decorated entirely from local materials, with nicely woven floor mats and high thatched roofs.
Accommodation at Manda Dream is in two luxury villas namely Equator and Blue Empire villas; Equator has three double bedrooms and Blue Empire has four double bedrooms. Both the villas have a secluded indoor garden, a lounge area, a sailing Dhow with a stand by sailor and a full time battler; And the rooms have a king size bed, a mosquito net, a ceiling fan, own en-suite bathroom, a dressing area with a hair dryer and reading table.
Meals at Manda Dream are prepared from freshly caught sea foods and other delicious African and international dishes; they also include home-made breads and sweets, fresh local vegetables and tropical fruits. The meals are usually served at the dining area/private verandah or on a nicely set garden or beach front candle lit table.
Some of the facilities at Manda Dream include lounge areas with veranda/garden/beach hammocks, restaurant/dining area overlooking the beach and a living room.
Manda Dream is situated in a location that offers a huge array of beach and water sport activities; these would include canoeing, snorkeling, water skiing, doughnut rides, kite boarding, sand yachting, fishing trips, motor boat or dhow sailing excursions to other remote islands with a picnics lunch sampling your own freshly caught fish, oyster picking, treasure hunting, swimming with dolphins among other beach activities.
The best and easiest way to get to Manda Dream from Nairobi; is flying from Wilson airport to Manda Airport or flying to Lamu airstrip and taking a private boat to the Lodge. By road, it would take about 8 hours’ drive from Nairobi to Lamu or 3 hours from Mombasa then take a 15 minutes boat ride to the Lodge.
Other attractions near Manda Dream includes; visiting nearby marine national parks, city excursion to major museums, zoos, historical sites, mosques, traditional markets in the region; Day sailing trips to nearby islands, scenic flights and helicopter safaris to nearby national reserve, cultural trips to nearby villages and ancient ruins.
Manda Dream is located in the middle of a very remote and secluded area; there are no modern shops or market places nearby; so it’s advisable to buy all your essential items in the major towns before traveling to Manda Dream.
